Okanagan Mountain Fire Watch

A special high traffic / low bandwidth edition of Castanet.net

With a new fire season upon us, nine months since the Okanagan Mountain Park Fire, effective April 1, 2004 we will no longer post new Okanagan Mountain park fire stories on this page.

Please check out our regular site at www.castanet.net for all the latest developments.  Rest assured, Castanet will provide around the clock coverage on this and other breaking local news.

Thanks to all of you who sent us your news tips, photos and words of encouragement.  You kept us going.
